TT electronics PLC08 March 2006 TT electronics plc Expansion Planned To Satisfy Growing Demand For New Sensor Technologies TT electronics is pleased to announce plans to extend its sensor manufacturingfacility near Dresden, Germany by 25,000 sq. ft. Here the group has beensuccessful in developing a wide range of temperature and pressure sensors. Theseinclude specialist high temperature sensors for emission controls for cars andheavy goods vehicles. TT electronics has also been awarded a valuable contract to develop sensorsintegrating both temperature and pressure sensing functions. This is the group'sfirst development contract for combined sensors for the automotive market andrepresents an important milestone in the expansion of pressure sensingtechnology into the volume German automotive market.
