Senior Management Appointment -

New Director of Customer Experience

Share plc (AIM: SHRE.LN), which operates The Share Centre Limited, a leading independent retail stockbroker, and Sharefunds Limited, the Group's investment management and fund administration subsidiary, is pleased to announce the appointment of Darren Cornish as Director of Customer Experience at The Share Centre Limited. The appointment takes effect on 1 January 2015, subject to regulatory approval.

Darren Cornish, 44, joins Share from E.ON UK plc, part of the global E.ON SE energy group with UK sales of over £5bn, where he worked for four years, latterly as UK Head of Residential Operations and In-House Sales. At E.ON, Darren was responsible for servicing the company's 5.2 million UK customers. He played a key role in driving improvements to the company's customer service proposition and, in both 2013 and 2012, E.ON was ranked No.1 for Overall Customer Satisfaction by USwitch.com, the comparison and switching service.

Before joining E.ON, Darren worked for Aviva plc, the multinational insurer, for 16 years, ultimately assuming the position of Director of Customer Experience.

As a Director of The Share Centre Limited, Darren will be a key member of the senior management team within the Group. He will assume responsibility for the principal customer-facing teams and services. The Share Centre has a well-established record of award-winning customer service, most recently winning the Online Personal Wealth Award 2014 for 'Best Customer Service'.
