CAPE PLC ANNOUNCES FURTHER SENIOR MANAGEMENT
APPOINTMENTS TO GUIDE AUSTRALASIAN GROWTH
UK based Cape PLC has announced the appointment of four additional key positions to its Perth based Regional Management team to grow its Australian operations, following the recent successful acquisition of three companies servicing the resources industry.
The Australian companies acquired by Cape PLC were ASX-listed scaffolding suppliers PCH Group and Concept Hire, along with the privately owned TCC (Total Corrosion Control).
The appointments are:
Terry O'Connor - Sales and Marketing Director, Far East and Pacific Rim. Terry has spent the past 15 years in
various senior sales and marketing roles within Mobil Oil UK, Mobil Oil Australia, Exxon Mobil Asia and MTU Detroit
Diesel Australia. Terry comes to Cape from Terex Mining Australia where he was the Regional Director of Sales and
Marketing Australasia.
Allan Hart - Director of Operations, Australia. Allan has held various Regional Management positions
within Cape since joining in 2002. He has over 14 years management experience within the industry.
An additional four new General Manager - Operations positions have been created for the regional businesses in North
Western Australia/Northern Territory, Queensland, South Western Australia/South Australia and NSW/Victoria/Tas. These
General Managers will report to the Director of Operations.
Steven Wellard - Business Integration Manager, Australia. Steven brings with him significant project management
experience, most recently with Austal Ships. His focus at Cape will be on orchestrating the integration program using best
practice systems and processes.
Peter Cowley has been appointed Health, Safety and Environment Director, Far East and Pacific Rim. Peter
joins the Cape team from Barrick Gold, where he was the General Manager of OHS Australia/Pacific. He brings with him
over 20 years in the mining industry, significant management experience and has been directly involved in a number of
major EHS projects. Prior to Barrick, he worked for Iluka where he had the task of improving the OHS performance of the
company world-wide.
They will commence their new roles in the coming weeks.
Australian Executive Director Steve Murdoch said, "These new appointments compliment an already strong management
team in Australia and will assist with growing the existing business throughout Australia."
Mr Murdoch said he and his new management team were looking forward to the challenge of integrating Cape's new
operations in Australia while further developing the capabilities of the overall business.

over the next 12 months."
