Senior Management Appointment -
New Director of Customer Experience
Share, which operates The Share Centre Limited, a leading independent UK retail stockbroker, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Stollery as Director of Customer Experience at The Share Centre Limited. The appointment takes effect on 1 November 2017, subject to regulatory approval.
Richard Stollery, 55, joins The Share Centre having worked in leading customer experience roles for some of the most recognised retail brands. Specifically, Richard spent nine years at LEGO including in the role of Global Customer Services Director where he was responsible for the customer experience including customer services. Subsequent to LEGO Richard spent time at both Adidas (as Global CRM Director) and Marks & Spencer (Head of Customer Sales and Service Centre Transformation).
As a Director of The Share Centre Limited, Richard will be a key member of the senior management team within the Group. He will assume responsibility for the principal customer-facing teams and services. The Share Centre has a well-established record of award-winning customer service, notably winning the Investment Trends award for Overall Client Satisfaction for the fourth consecutive year in 2017, and Richard's contribution will be key to maintaining this high standard of service.
Richard will be replacing Darren Cornish, who has served as the Director of Customer Experience for three years. Darren is returning to Aviva plc where he has been appointed to the new role of Group Customer Experience Director.
Richard Stone, Chief Executive, said:
"I am delighted to welcome Richard to the team at The Share Centre. Fundamentally, The Share Centre is a retail business that happens to operate in the Financial Services industry and, therefore, to be successful, we need to differentiate ourselves strongly from our peers, and to maintain a deep understanding of our customers and their needs. Our strategy has "putting customers first" at its core, and Richard's extensive retail market experience, and background of delivering results for large scale, globally recognised brands, will be invaluable in helping us execute this strategy.
"I would also like to thank Darren Cornish for his contribution to the Company over the last three years, and to wish him well on his return to Aviva. He has been instrumental in helping to shape the customer experience at The Share Centre, which culminated in our first non-industry specific award - the UK Customer Experience Award for 'Customers at the Heart of Everything (Use of Technology)'."
