Appointment of Senior Independent Non-Executive Director

The Board of Petropavlovsk PLC ("the "Company") is pleased to announce that Sir Roderic Lyne has been appointed Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board of the Company, such appointment being effective from 1 November 2015.

Sir Roderic joined the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 22 April 2009, having previously been an Independent Non-Executive Director of Aricom plc since 2 October 2006. Sir Roderic is Chairman of the Company's Remuneration and HSE Committees.
