INTU PROPERTIES ANNOUNCES SECONDARY OFFERING OF EQUITY ONE SHARES

Intu Properties plc announces that it has commenced a public offering in the United States whereby it will sell 11,357,837 shares of common stock of Equity One, Inc. (NYSE: EQY) owned by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Liberty International Holdings Limited.

Equity One is a real estate investment trust which owns, develops and operates shopping centers in the US and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

UBS Investment Bank is the sole underwriter of the offering.
