Second major channel partner secures first trial
- Strategic partner channel activation a key strategic goal for 2014 -
- First trial secured with second key strategic partner for a large UK enterprise end-customer -
Outsourcery (AIM: OUT), the leading Cloud Service Provider ("CSP") that helps organisations of any size to reduce costs, increase productivity and work better, is pleased to announce that a second of its major channel partners has secured its first order for certain of Outsourcery's cloud-based solutions.
The trial is for the deployment of a cloud based unified communications solution and has been placed - via this strategic channel partner - by a large UK based enterprise. If successful, the solution will be rolled out to several thousand employees.
As previously communicated, Outsourcery's primary strategic goal for this current financial year is to build on the investments it has made in its platform and to begin to generate material recurring revenue. A key route to generating this revenue will be through the activation of existing partners and the addition of new partners. This trial, secured with a second key partner, represents the beginnings of the development of a pipeline of opportunities from a key strategic partner.
Commenting on the win, Co-Chief Executive Piers Linney said:
"We are now beginning to see the real green shoots of momentum show through in our strategic partner channel. Today's news effectively switches on the second of our major channel partners, transforming it from a compelling route to market into a real route to revenue. These initial engagements reinforce our confidence in our offering, in our position and in our potential to turn this early engagement and activity, into a strong and sustainable recurring revenue stream over the long term."
