2011 final dividend - scrip reference price

Meggitt PLC ('the Company') confirms that the scrip reference price for the fully paid ordinary shares to be issued to shareholders electing to receive the scrip dividend alternative for the final dividend for the year ended 31 December 2011, payable on 11 May 2012, will be 403.08 pence per share.

The scrip reference price is calculated by taking the average mid-market price of the Company's shares over the five business days commencing on the ex-dividend date. In respect of the final dividend for 2011, this was the period 14 March to 20 March 2012.

Further details of the scrip dividend will be posted to shareholders on 29 March 2012 and will be available on our website www.meggitt.com from that date.
