2012 final dividend - scrip reference price

Meggitt PLC ('the Company') confirms that the scrip reference price for the fully paid ordinary shares to be issued to shareholders electing to receive the scrip dividend alternative for the final dividend for the year ended 31 December 2012, payable on 10 May 2013, will be 482.02 pence per share.

The scrip reference price is calculated by taking the average mid-market price of the Company's shares over the five business days commencing on the ex-dividend date. In respect of the final dividend for 2012, this was the period 13 March 2013 to 19 March 2013.

Further details of the scrip dividend will be posted to shareholders on 28 March 2013 and will be available on our website www.meggitt.com from that date.
