Scrip Dividend Election Results

Goldenport Holdings Inc. ("Goldenport" or "the Company"), (LSE: GPRT) the international shipping company that owns and operates a fleet of container and dry-bulk vessels, announces that as at 3.00 p.m. (London time) on 12 October 2010, being the latest time and date for shareholders of the Company to elect the scrip dividend alternative to the interim cash dividend for the financial year ending 31 December 2010, shareholders representing 13,333,557 (or 14.66%) out of 90,969,908 shares (being the total number of shares of common stock of USD 0.01 each in issue on the interim dividend record date of 10 September 2010) elected to receive the scrip dividend alternative instead of the interim cash dividend of 1.8 pence per share for the financial year ending 31 December 2010.

Goldenport will apply on or before 2 November 2010 to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for 200,565 new shares of common stock of USD 0.01 each to be admitted to trading, such shares to rank equally with the existing issued shares in the capital of the Company of 90,969,908 shares. Immediately following admission, the total number of shares in issue will be 91,170,473.
