Ireland Group plc ("WHI" or the "Company") Scrip dividend election The board of the Company announces the following information in relation to theordinary share capital of the company: Scrip Dividend Elections to accept the scrip dividend alternative (as announced on 29thFebruary 2008 and as set out in the circular to shareholders dated 20 March2003) have been received from the holders of 3,239,316 ordinary shares of 5peach ("Shares") in aggregate, representing approximately 18.80% of the existingissued ordinary share capital. Accordingly, 85,002 new Shares were issued in satisfaction of such elections,bringing the enlarged issued ordinary share capital to 17,316,591. The cost tothe Company of the dividend made in cash amounts to £418,848.18 in total. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for admission to tradingon AIM of the 85,002 new Shares. Dealings are expected to commence and CRESTmember accounts are expected to be credited on 25 April 2008 at 8.00am.
