RM PLC21 September 2005 RM confirms £37.5 million Scottish Schools Digital Network (SSDN) contract RM plc, the UK's leading supplier of information and communications technology(ICT) and other services to education, confirms that it has signed a £37.5million, five year contract with the Scottish Executive to provide a nationaleducation intranet. The Group announced on the 1st July 2005 that it had beenappointed preferred bidder for the contract. Announcing the contract today at the Scottish Learning Festival, Peter Peacock,Scottish Executive Education Minister, said: 'In schools across Scotland I have seen at first-hand how technology istransforming learning and teaching. I am determined to see that continue, whichmeans we must maintain our investment in technology as it advances and presentsnew and exciting opportunities.
