SciSys Environment Division awarded key Analysis and Development work with UK Met Office
SciSys plc (AIM : SSY), ('SciSys' or the 'Company') the specialist supplier of bespoke software systems, IT based solutions and support services is pleased to provide an update on a number of recent contract wins by its Environment Division with the UK Met Office.
The SciSys Environment Division is a leading supplier of consultancy and software services to the Environment and Utilities sectors including major public and private sector clients. The Division has been awarded four new contracts worth in excess of £400,000.
The four projects fall into two main categories. The first three projects are all at the Discovery Phase in the development of new Met Office services. SciSys is helping the Met Office define the scope and vision for each via a series of workshops and face-to-face meetings with Met Office staff and external customers. One of the projects, in the area of Space Weather, demonstrates our ability to bring expertise from across the SciSys divisions. The fourth project is a development piece where SciSys is porting an existing solution onto the Met Office's new technology platform based on the Flex Framework.
SciSys CEO David Jones commented: "These projects represent a strategic win with a high profile new customer and demonstrate our ability to bring value to our customers across the full delivery lifecycle."
