SAYE SHARE OPTION SCHEME
At the Company's AGM in May of this year, shareholders approved the establishment of a Group Save As You Earn (SAYE) share option scheme. The scheme was established in order to offer the growing number of employees at SeaEnergy the opportunity to participate in the future growth of the Company.
Eligible employees were invited to subscribe for share options at 33.125p, the closing mid-market price of the Company's shares on the day before the invitation to participate was made. The scheme rules follow HMRC guidance and limit each employee to a maximum saving of £500 per month over the three year period of the scheme.
A total of 21 employees (43% of those eligible) elected to participate giving rise to the grant yesterday of a total of 357,756 share options. This equates to 0.63% of the current issued share capital.
The following Executive Directors elected to participate in the scheme and are included in the total figures above as follows:
John Aldersey-Williams (CEO) has been granted 21,735 share options and Steven Bertram (Finance and Commercial Director) has been granted 54,339 share options. Non-Executive Directors were not eligible to participate.
Following the grant of the SAYE share options the participating Executive Directors shareholdings in the Company are as follows:
