Inmarsat PLC16 March 2008 Inmarsat plc announces postponement of planned satellite launch London: 15 March 2008. On Saturday 15 March, Inmarsat (LSE: ISAT) was informedthat a Proton Breeze M rocket carrying the satellite of another operator,suffered an anomaly resulting in the failure of the mission. In view of this news, Inmarsat has suspended plans to ship the third Inmarsat-4satellite to the launch site. Inmarsat expects the launch scheduled for lateApril to be postponed pending an investigation of the launch failure byInternational Launch Services and the Russian State Commission.
