The salient dates of the dividend payment are as follows: 2014 Currency conversion date Thursday, 20 November Last date to trade on the JSE Friday, 28 November Ex-Dividend date on the JSE Monday, 1 December Ex-Dividend date on the LSE Thursday, 4 December Record date Friday, 5 December Payment date Friday, 19 December 1. No transfers between the Johannesburg and London registers between commencement of trading on Friday, 21 November 2014 and close of business on Friday, 5 December 2014 will be permitted. 2. No shares may be dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday, 1 December 2014 and Friday, 5 December 2014, both days inclusive. The Company has Secondary Tax on Companies credits of ZAR371,639,126 (whichequates to ZAR20.30821 cents per share) available for set-off against the SouthAfrican dividend withholding tax liability of which 14.10000 ZAR cents pershare will be utilised for this dividend. Accordingly, no dividend withholdingtax will be deducted from the gross dividend declared.
