Appian Technology PLC11 March 2008 Appian Technology plc / Ticker: APN / Market: AIM / Sector: Technology 11 March 2008 Appian Technology plc ('Appian' or 'the Company') Contract Wins totalling £266,000 for Newly Launched ANPR Cameras Appian Technology plc, the AIM listed provider of Automatic Number PlateRecognition systems ('ANPR') and traffic management products and solutions, haswon contracts worth a total £266,000 with a number of key systems integratorsand police forces to supply its newly launched specialist ANPR cameras. Appian developed a range of state of the art high performance ANPR cameraproducts, which it launched during 2007, namely the fully integrated Stingerintelligent ANPR camera, the Cobra fixed site camera, and the Viper mobilecamera for police vehicles. In the past eight weeks Appian has sold £116,000 worth of Stinger cameras tospecialist security integrators and police forces and in the past six weeks, itachieved sales worth £120,000 of the Cobra camera, lifting the total number ofCobra sales since its launch in early 2007 to in excess of 1,500 units, farsurpassing anticipated levels. Additionally, having passed a series of stringentregulatory tests in February 2008, Appian has sold £30,000 worth of Viper mobilecameras, the smallest commercially available camera in the UK, to specialistpolice vehicle systems integrators.
