SALE OF TWO BUSINESSES TO VERTU MOTORS plc
Lookers plc, one of the leading UK motor retail and aftersales services groups announces that it has exchanged contracts to sell two dealerships through the sale of the trade and certain assets to Vertu Motors plc ("Vertu"). The maximum consideration payable by Vertu is £3.9m to be settled in cash and completion is expected to take place on 4 October 2010.
