RSA Announces Appointment of New UK CEO

RSA Insurance Group plc announces that Bridget McIntyre is stepping down as UKCEO. Subject to regulatory approval, Bridget McIntyre will be succeeded byAdrian Brown, who is currently RSA UK's Chief Operating Officer. Bridget has been with the Group for almost 3 years and has made a significantcontribution to the UK business. Bridget wants to spend more time with herfamily in Suffolk and she and the Group Board agreed that it is the right timefor new leadership to take the business forward. Bridget will commence handover of her UK CEO responsibilities straight away butwill remain on the Group Board until the end of the year to ensure a smoothtransition. Adrian Brown has been the UK Chief Operating Officer since 2006. He waspreviously responsible for establishing the UK's direct business, MORE TH>N,which he ran for two years before becoming the UK Director for Personal Lines in2003.
