MR. RONALD FREEMAN, INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR, PURCHASED
OAO SEVERSTAL EUROBONDS
On July 22, 2008 Mr. Ronald Freeman, Independent Director, purchased OAO Severstal 5 year Eurobonds with a face value of $1 million at market price.
