Rob Meyer has been named President and General Manager of MeggittThermal Systems, a Meggitt group company, it was announced by JohnStobie, Managing Director of Meggitt Aerospace Equipment (MAE). £ The appointment was effective Jan. 1, 2007. £ Stobie said, "Rob's extensive management experience in the areasof strategic planning, sales and marketing, and financial, combinedwith his many years with Meggitt companies, will be an extremelyvaluable asset in expanding the Meggitt Thermal Systems business." £ Meyer has held several senior management positions with theMeggitt organization since 1988. Most recently, he served as MAE GroupVice President of Sales and Marketing. Previously, he directed thesales and marketing function of Meggitt Safety Systems and WhittakerControls, as well as President of Endevco Corporation.
