RM PLC05 October 2007 5th October 2007 RM selected as ICT provider for Hackney BSF Project RM has been selected by the London Borough of Hackney to provide ICT services tothe Borough's BSF (Building Schools for the Future) project. RM will provide theservices as part of the mpb education consortium, which has been appointedpreferred bidder for the project. Hackney's BSF programme covers six secondary schools and three special schoolsin total, and will be delivered in three phases. The initial phase covers threeschools and 3,350 pupils. RM will be responsible for designing and delivering an innovative ICT managedservice, which includes cashless catering and access control, as well asin-school ICT systems, learning platform integration and a shared data centre.The Group will also provide educational consultancy to support the effectiveeducational use of ICT. Commenting on the contract, Tim Pearson, CEO of RM, said: "It's great news that Hackney has chosen RM to provide ICT for their BSFproject.
