RM PLC10 October 2007 RM launches revolutionary "one-per-pupil" computing device with prices starting at £169 RM today launches the RM Asus miniBook, a revolutionary mobile computing device,at the 2007 Handheld Learning Conference. With prices starting at £169, the RMAsus miniBook will make one-per-pupil computing affordable for many schools. At less than one kg, the RM Asus miniBook combines the portability and quickstart of a PDA, with the powerful capabilities of a full notebook computer. A"solid-state" hard drive means fast boot-up and shut-down, as well as increasedrobustness. The miniBook also features a seven inch colour screen, integratedWeb-cam, microphone and speakers, wireless networking, three USB 2.0 ports andVGA output.
