Tate & Lyle PLCRevision to Additional Listing

Tate & Lyle PLC (the "Company") announces that the application made on 5 January 2010 to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for 521,323 ordinary shares of 25p each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") to be admitted to the Official List and to trading has been revised down to 514,612 Shares.

Dealings are still expected to commence on 8 January 2010 and Shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of 25p each.
