Lonmin PLC29 August 2007 Lonmin announces that the substantial majority of the workforce at the Group'sMarikana operations have returned to work following the unlawful and unprotectedstrike action initiated by the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) on Sunday 19August. Lonmin is committed to continuing to work with NUM to resolve the issuesunderlying the situation. Lonmin's estimate of the impact on production of the strike action to date is inthe range of 25,000 to 30,000 ounces of Platinum. Due to the strike actionimpacting our Process Division as well as the Marikana Mining operations thislost production will principally impact sales in the current financial year.
