Retirement of Sir William Purves DSO
Aquarius Platinum Limited ("Aquarius Platinum") advises that Sir William Purves has retired from the Board of directors after 8 years of service greatly valued by his colleagues. Sir William joined the Board in February 2004 and served in the capacity of Senior Independent Director and also Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Group.
Aquarius Platinum Chairman Nicholas Sibley on behalf of the Board and Management of the Group expressed his gratitude to Sir William for his outstanding contribution to Aquarius Platinum during his 8 years on the Board and extended to Sir William and Lady Purves every good wish for their health and happiness in the future.
Following the retirement of Sir William Purves, Tim Freshwater has been appointed Senior Independent Director and David Dix has been appointed Chairman of the Audit Committee.
