Retirement of Group CEO

Further to the announcement on 24 August 2016 regarding Aloysius Lee's retirement and the update provided as part the third quarter trading statement on 2 November 2016, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc (M&C) confirms today that the date Mr Lee will be stepping down as a Director of M&C and Group Chief Executive Officer will be at the end of 28 February 2017.

The Nominations Committee is continuing with succession planning and recruitment of a new Group Chief Executive Officer. A further update on the search and final details of Mr Lee's remuneration arrangements will be provided in due course.
