Retirement of Directors

Great Eastern Energy Corporation Limited (LSE: GEEC), the fully integrated, leading Indian Coal Bed Methane (CBM) Company, announces that two independent non-executive directors, Mr. Kashi N. Memani and Mr. Pejavar Murari, have retired and tendered their resignation in accordance with the Company's policy of attaining / attained the age of 75 years.

The Company appreciates the valuable assistance and guidance provided by the directors during their tenure with the Company. 

The Company is in the process of appointing new independent non-executive directors and will make a further announcement in this regard.
