Retirement of Directors

Nyota Minerals Limited (ASX/AIM: NYO), the gold exploration and development company in East Africa, announces the retirement from the Board of Mr. David Pettman and Mr. Martyn Churchouse. Mr. Churchouse, who was instrumental in the development of the Definitive Feasibility Study ("DFS"), will continue to act as a part-time consultant for the Company contributing his knowledge of the project whilst the DFS is optimised and the Feeder Zone mineralisation is evaluated.

Chairman, Neil Maclachlan, said, "These Board changes are the first element of the restructuring and rationalisation of the Board that we are undertaking following the Placing announced in February. It has been a pleasure working with David and Martyn in the year that I have been with Nyota and I would like to place on record, on behalf of the Board, our thanks for their valuable support throughout their years of service to the Board and to wish them well in their future endeavors."

The retirements are effective immediately.  Mr. Michael Langoulant will assume the chairmanship of the Company's Audit and Remuneration & Nomination Committees in place of Mr. Pettman. Mr. Richard Chase will join the Audit Committee and Mr. Norman Ling will join the Remuneration & Nomination Committee.
