Retirement of Director (LR9.6.11)

John Wood Group PLC ('Company') Retirement of Director(LR9.6.11) Neil H. Smith, non-executive director of the Company, will retire from the Board on 31 December 2013. Neil has been a non-executive director since 2004 and has served on the Remuneration and Nomination committees. Allister Langlands, Chairman, said: Neil has made a very valuable contribution to the Board as a non-executive director over many years. His knowledge of the power generation industry in particular has greatly assisted Board discussions on the strategic developmentof our GTS business, including the recently announced proposed joint venture with Siemens.
