Tullow Oil PLC31 March 2008 News release Retirement of Matthew O'Donoghue, General Manager Projects 31 March 2008 - Matthew O'Donoghue, aged 63, will retire as General ManagerProjects, and from the Board of Tullow, with effect from today. Matthew joined Tullow in 1987 as General Manager in Senegal and was appointed tothe Board in 1998. During his career, spanning over 35 years in the oil and gasbusiness, he has held a number of senior management positions both in Tullow andwith Schlumberger Wireline working in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. In recent years, as General Manager Projects, Matthew has successfully managedTullow's Contracts and Procurement function and guided a number of Tullow'sdevelopments from sanction through to first production. These projects includedthe Group's first offshore operated development, Horne and Wren in the UKSouthern North Sea, and most recently, gas developments in Pakistan andBangladesh. Matthew will however maintain close links with Tullow in retirement and theGroup will continue to benefit from his experience and expertise through aconsultancy agreement.
