Retirement of Director and AGM Results

Abbey wishes to announce that Mr. John F. Hogan is retiring as a Director of the Company following the annual general meeting of the Company held today. Mr Hogan has served nearly ten years as a Director and as an advisor to the Group for over four decades.

The Board wish to thank Mr. Hogan for his many years of service to the Group and wish him well in his retirement.

Abbey also announces that all resolutions proposed to shareholders at the Company's annual general meeting were duly passed.
