Retirement of Chairman in 2010
On 6 August 2009 it was announced that David Turner, Chairman of Cobham has been invited to take up a senior non-executive appointment in Australia early next year and will continue as Chairman of Cobham until the conclusion of the AGM in May 2010.
It has now been announced by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia that David Turner has been invited to take up the position as Chairman of that company in February next year.
As noted earlier a process for identifying his successor has commenced and is being led by senior independent director Marcus Beresford.
