The Results of the Meeting of the Board of Directors

Moscow, 12 August2011- JSC Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System ("Federal Grid" or the "Company", ticker symbol: MICEX, RTS, LSE: FEES), the operator and manager of Russia's unified electricity transmission grid system announces the results of a regular meeting of the Board of Directors, held August 11th in absentia. The Board of Directors made a decision to terminate the powers of Dmitry Troshenkov and Pavel Romanov as members of Federal Grid's Management Board.

 

The Board of Directors also made a decision to elect Andrey Cherezov Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Engineer and Samuil Zilberman General Director of the branch of Federal Grid - Backbone electric grids of Siberia.

The Board of Directors has approved new members of the Federal Grid's Board of Directors Committees: Audit Committee, Investment Committee, HR and Remuneration Committee and Strategy Committee. The change in committee membership is a result of a change in the membership of the Company's Board of Directors, implemented in accordance with the resolution of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting (June 29th, 2011).

 

The following members of Audit Committee were elected:

·; Igor Khvalin.

The Chairman of Audit Committee is Rashid Sharipov.
