Results of Rights Issue AND OVERSEAS OFFER
Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (AIM / ASX: CFU) is pleased to announce the result of its Rights Issue made to qualifying participants within Australia and New Zealand and its Overseas Offer made to qualifying participants outside of Australia and New Zealand and certain other territories.
Approximately 44% of the Rights Issue Shares were subscribed for by shareholders. The Company will issue 51,113,850 fully paid ordinary shares at the issue price of 18.25 cents to raise an additional AUD 9.3 million (GBP 5.6 million).
Approximately 98% of the Overseas Offer Shares were subscribed for by shareholders. The Company will issue 19,222,606 fully paid ordinary shares at the issue price of 10.5p to raise an additional GBP 2 million (AUD 3.3 million).
The total amount raised under the Rights Issue and Overseas Offer is AUD 12.7 million (GBP 7.7 million). These funds are in addition to the AUD 17.4 million (GBP 10.0 million) raised under the recently completed placing to institutional investors and subscription by a UK cornerstone investor.
The total amount raised before costs under the three fundraising tranches is AUD 30.1 million (GBP 18.2 million).
Applications have been made for the Rights Issue Shares and Overseas Offer Shares to be admitted to trading on ASX and AIM and it is expected that dealings on ASX and AIM will commence on or around 28 September 2010.
On admission of these shares, the Company will have 1,195,447,832 ordinary shares in issue.
