US Genesis-EDGE product meets EPA emissions requirements in internal testing
Clean Air Power (AIM:CAP), the developer and global leader in Dual-Fuel engine management software for heavy duty vehicles, is pleased to announce that its US Genesis-EDGE Dual-Fuel test engine has met all Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) emission requirements in internal testing at company facilities in Leyland, UK. The test engine will now be transferred to the US for formal and independent testing by Ricardo Inc. The results of both sets of tests will form the basis for an application for EPA certification, a key requirement ahead of the launch of the engine in the US anticipated later this year.
John Pettitt, Chief Executive of Clean Air Power said:
"That our US Genesis-EDGE product has successfully passed all EPA emissions requirements in internal testing is a major milestone for Clean Air Power and a key step towards EPA certification. Whilst there remain further hurdles to overcome the results give me confidence that our engine will achieve EPA certification paving the way for the launch of the product in the US."
