Results of Annual General Meeting

Tawa announces that all resolutions proposed to shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 20 June 2013 at the offices of CCT Venues, 2nd floor, Isis Building, 193 Marsh Wall, London E14 9SG were duly passed.

Chairman

As outlined in the notice of the AGM posted to shareholders on 23 May 2013, Colin Bird had agreed to serve as interim Chairman whilst the Board fulfilled its commitment to restore the balance of skills, knowledge and experience on the Board. Part of that process involved preparing for an orderly transition of the role of Chairman. Having overseen the process through to conclusion, Colin retired as Chairman at the end of the Annual General Meeting today. Tim Carroll, having agreed to succeed Colin as Chairman, was formally appointed to that position by the Board at its meeting immediately prior to the Annual General Meeting.

Colin took the chair of Tawa plc following the sudden, sad death of Tawa's former chairman, Robin Jackson, The Board wishes to place on record its appreciation and gratitude to Colin for his leadership of Tawa plc's Board and to thank him for the considerable time he has devoted to this role over the past two and half years. All members of the Board look forward to continuing to work alongside Colin on the Board in future.
