Cambrian Oil & Gas PLC27 July 2006 Cambrian Oil and Gas plc (the "Company") Placing becomes unconditional 27 July 2006 The Directors of Cambrian Oil and Gas plc (the "Company"), the AIM quoted oiland gas exploration and production company, previously announced on 20 July2006, that it had conditionally placed up to 50,000,000 new ordinary shares of 1pence each (the "Placing Shares") at 3 pence per ordinary share, raising£1,500,000 gross of expenses (the "Placing"). The Directors of the Company are pleased to announce that following the fullsubscription and admission of the Placing Shares to AIM today, the Placing hascompleted. The Placing Shares have been issued together with one warrant for each PlacingShare subscribed, each warrant entitling the holder to subscribe for oneordinary share in the Company at 3 pence per ordinary share, exercisable inwhole or in part at any time up to 27 July 2007. Following the completion of the Placing there are 158,227,159 ordinary shares inthe capital of the Company.
