Redeemable Second Cumulative Preference Shares EIO announces that, earlier today, the class meeting of holders of its£3,000,000 10 per cent. Redeemable Second Cumulative Preference Shares ("SecondPrefs") approved the Extraordinary Resolution contained in the notice of meetingto redesignate the Second Prefs into, principally, new 8.625 per cent.Non-Cumulative Irredeemable Preference Shares ("Irredeemables"), on the basis of£9 nominal of Irredeemables for every £10 nominal of Second Prefs. The settlement date of the redesignation is expected to be 4 August 2005.
