Results of General Meeting ("GM")
Sports Direct announces the result of the poll on the resolution put at its GM held on Thursday 5 January 2017 at Unit D, Brook Park East, Shirebrook, NG20 8RY at 11.00am.

As above, the resolution was passed, however for full transparency the Company has illustrated below the result of the poll on the resolution showing only the votes of independent shareholders:

Mike Ashley, the majority shareholder and Chief Executive, said: "Keith has my full backing and will be continuing in his role on the basis that he has the unanimous support of the Board. I note that many of those who voted against Keith have acknowledged that we have made positive progress since the AGM."
