Result of General Meeting
Monitise (LSE: MONI) ("Monitise" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the result of its general meeting held earlier today (the "General Meeting").
Further to the Company's announcement of a Firm Placing and Conditional Placing on 3 December 2012 and its announcement of 5 December 2012 confirming that a circular including a notice of general meeting of the Company (the "Circular") had been published and posted to shareholders, Monitise announces that each of the resolutions proposed at the General Meeting, details of which are set out on pages 16 and 17 of the Circular, were duly passed.
Application has been made for the 219,217,198 Conditional Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected that admission will take place at 8.00 a.m. on 27 December 2012 ("Second Admission").
Following Second Admission, Monitise is expected to have 1,541,364,630 Ordinary Shares in issue. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
Unless otherwise stated, defined terms in this announcement shall have the same meaning as in the Circular.
