Result of General Meeting and Name Change to Cupid plc

Easydate plc, the internet-based dating operator, is pleased to announce that at its General Meeting held today at 10am, the resolution put to shareholders was duly passed.

As a result, the Company will go ahead with its planned name change to Cupid plc, which will take effect from 14 January 2011. The Company's new ticker will be CUP and the new domain for its corporate website will be www.cupidplc.com.
