14 May 2009 Regent Inns plc Result of General Meeting and Board Change Regent Inns plc (the “Company” or “Regent”), the operator of UK late-night, entertainment-led venues and restaurants, announces that at the general meeting of the Company held today at 10.00 a.m. the special resolution to approve the cancellation of the admission of the Company's ordinary shares to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s market for listed securities (together the "De-Listing") (and consequential and other amendments to the Company’s articles of association) was passed. It is expected that the De-Listing will take place at 8.00 a.m. on 15 June 2009. In addition, the Company today announces the resignation of Tanith Dodge as a non-executive director with effect from the De-Listing taking place, a position she has held since June 2007.
