Result of placing Senior is pleased to announce the successful completion of the placing (the"Placing") announced earlier today. A total of 15,000,000 new ordinary shares of10 pence each (the "Placing Shares") have been placed by Hoare Govett Limited("Hoare Govett") with institutions at a price of 60 pence per share, raisingapproximately £9 million before expenses. The Placing Shares will be issued credited as fully paid and will rank equallyin all respects with Senior's existing ordinary shares, including the right toreceive all future dividends and other distributions (including any finaldividend declared in respect of the year ended 31 December 2005). The Placing is conditional upon, inter alia, the admission of the Placing Sharesto the Official List of the Financial Services Authority (the "Official List")and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities("Admission"). It is expected that settlement will occur, Admission will becomeeffective and dealings in the Placing Shares will commence on 2 February 2006. Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority for the admissionof the Placing Shares to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange forthe admission of the Placing Shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange'smarket for listed securities.
