Hansteen Holdings plc19 February 2008 For Immediate Release19 February 2008 HANSTEEN HOLDINGS PLC ("Hansteen" or "the Company") Results of an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company Hansteen Holdings PLC (AIM: HSTN) announces that the special resolution proposedat the Company's EGM held yesterday, Monday 18 February 2008, was duly passed.The special resolution approved the reduction of the Company's Share PremiumAccount by a sum of £60,000,000. The Company will now apply to the Court for its approval of the proposedreduction of Share Premium Account. It is anticipated that the Court will makean order confirming this reduction after a hearing on or about 19 March 2008.The Reduction will take effect upon registration of the court order with theRegistrar of Companies.
