Bowleven plc held an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 28 August 2009.
The Company is pleased to announce that the ordinary resolution proposed at the EGM was duly passed by unanimous resolution of the shareholders present.
A summary of the proxy votes received will be displayed on the Company's website.
Bowleven is scheduled to announce its preliminary results for the year ended 30 June 2009 on Wednesday 4 November 2009. In advance of these results Bowleven intends to provide an update on operations on Thursday 3 September 2009.
