Vane Minerals PLC08 May 2007 8th May 2007 VANE Minerals Plc ("the Company") Result of EGM The Company is pleased to announce that all resolutions proposed at theExtraordinary General Meeting ("EGM"), held at 10am earlier today, have beenduly approved by the shareholders of the Company. As previously announced, the EGM was convened to seek the authorities necessaryto approve the raising of £1,000,000 through the issue of a fixed rate unsecuredconvertible loan note to Geiger Counter Limited, as announced on 12th April2007. Further to this approval, Geiger Counter and City Natural Resources HighYield Trust Plc have also undertaken to exercise their conversion rights on theexisting £750,000 loan note into ordinary shares of the Company at the agreedprice of 12p, as announced in September 2006.
