Cue Energy Plc14 March 2008 Cue Energy plc ("Cue" or "the Company") Result of EGM, Application for New Shares to be admitted to AIM and Substantial Shareholders The Directors of Cue are pleased to announce that the resolutions proposed atthe Extraordinary General Meeting, held today, and set out in the Notice ofExtraordinary General Meeting dated 21 February 2008, were duly passed. As a result, the Company has issued 50,000,000 new Ordinary shares to theshareholders of Oreion Energy Australia Pty Ltd ("Oreion") (the "ConsiderationShares") in consideration for the acquisition of the entire issued share capitalof Oreion. The Consideration Shares will represent approximately 18% of thetotal issued enlarged share capital of the Company (280,207,901 Ordinaryshares). Application has been made for the Consideration Shares, ranking pari passu with the Company's existing Ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM. Admission is expected to occur on Thursday 20 March 2008.
