Commoditrade Inc.24 April 2006 24 April 2006 Commoditrade Inc ("Commoditrade" or the "Company") Result of EGM Further to the announcement made on 6 April 2006, the Company is pleased toannounce that all the resolutions put to the shareholders of the Company at theextraordinary general meeting held today, details of which were set out in thecircular to shareholders dated 6 April 2006, were duly passed. The resolutionswere in relation to, inter alia, the acquisition of the Tambelan Interest("Acquisition") and authorising the issue of 268,073,114 new ordinary shares of0.1p each in the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") pursuant to the Proposals. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the re-admission ofthe 103,200,000 Existing Ordinary Shares and the admission of the New OrdinaryShares to trading on AIM. It is expected that Admission will become effectiveand that dealings will commence in the Enlarged Share Capital on 25 April 2006.Completion of the Acquisition is due to take place on 25 April 2006. On the Completion of the acquisition of the Tambelan Interest, due to take place tomorrow, Graham Butt will assume the role of Executive Chairman and Chris Adams and Geoffrey Conway-Henderson will be appointed to the Board. In addition, Terry Bartlett will step down as a director and the Board would like to thank Terry for his valuable contribution to the Company during his term of office.
