Result of EGM and Appointment of Chief Executive Officer

Jubilant is pleased to announce that, at the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held today, the resolution for the appointmentof Mr Rakesh Jain as a Director of the Company  for an initial period upto 11 August 2016, subject to the provisions of Jubilant Energy's Articles of Association, was put to the meeting and was duly passed.

Consequently, Mr Rakesh Jain has been appointed as an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

Mr. S S Bhartia, Chairman of Jubilant Energy commented:
